Hand and Upper Limb conditions are diagnosed and treated by a number of our Orthopaedic Surgeons and Sports Physicians. State-of-the-art treatment options are based on evidence-based medical research to deliver high quality patient care.

The centre offers comprehensive care for all conditions of the upper extremity, including the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow with evaluation and treatment options for patients of all ages.

Common conditions we treat include injuries to tendons, nerves, bones, and joints in the upper extremity. For example, nerve disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome, cumulative trauma disorders such as tendonitis, acute injuries including fractures, dislocations, lacerations, accidental amputations, and burns.

We perform surgery for hand arthritis, fractures of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow, tendon and nerve release and repair surgery and complex reconstruction. We use a variety of treatment options tailored to each individual patient's needs, using both established and emerging therapies.
