Dr Lawrie Malisano completed his graduate medical education (MBBS) at the University of Queensland. Post graduate training in Brisbane culminated in Fellowship of the royal Australasian College of Surgeons, followed by further experience in London (United Kingdom), Bochum (Germany) and Toronto (Canada).

Dr Malisano’s private practice is adult arthroscopic and reconstructive knee surgery and replacement surgery of the hip and knee.

Dr Malisano is appointed as a Senior Specialist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he manages acetabular fractures and pelvic ring injuries.

Dr Malisano is a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association, a founding member of the Arthroplasty Society of Australia, a Member of the Australian Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a life member of Sports Medicine Australia (Queensland branch). He continues in an active role for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
