The Centre's Hand & Upper Limb Orthopaedic Physician

Treatment

The Centre offers comprehensive care for all conditions of the upper extremity including the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow with evaluation and treatment for patients of all ages.

Common conditions we treat include injuries to tendons, nerves, bones, and joints in the upper extremity (for example, nerve disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome, cumulative trauma disorders such as tendonitis, acute injuries such as fractures, dislocations, lacerations, accidental amputations, and burns).

We frequently perform surgery for hand arthritis, fractures of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow, tendon and nerve release and repair surgery and complex reconstruction. We use a variety of treatments and tailor these treatments to the individual needs of the patients, using both established and emerging therapies.
